Privacy Policy

Last updated: [date to be set at launch]. This policy explains how EzuLaw collects, uses, and shares your information.

Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry through a practice-area intake form, we collect the information you provide — including your name, contact information, county, and details about your legal matter. We also collect standard technical information (such as browser and device data) through normal website operation.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to evaluate your inquiry and, if we identify a suitable participating attorney, to make that referral — including sharing relevant intake details with the matched attorney so they can assess your matter. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share information with

We share your inquiry details with the specific participating attorney or law firm we match you with. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate this site (such as hosting, database, and email-delivery providers), under obligations to protect it.

Sensitive matters

If your inquiry indicates an active safety concern (for example, domestic violence), we may prioritize or flag your submission for faster review. Submitting this information does not replace contacting emergency services or a domestic violence hotline directly.

Data retention

We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the referral service and comply with legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, or to request that we delete it, subject to any legal retention requirements. Contact details are on our Contact page.

This is placeholder policy language for development. It must be reviewed and finalized by a Florida-licensed attorney — including confirming applicability of Florida and any other relevant privacy statutes — before this site collects real user data at launch.
