How It Works
What actually happens when you submit an inquiry
EzuLaw is a lawyer referral service, not a law firm. This page explains the referral process step by step, and the disclosures Florida requires of a referral service under Rule 4-7.22 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
Submit your matter
Choose your practice area and answer a short, tailored set of questions. Each practice area has its own intake — we don't ask generic questions that don't apply to your situation.
We look for a participating attorney
We review your answers against our current panel for that practice area and your county. If no participating attorney is currently available for your matter, we'll tell you rather than force a match.
We disclose the match before anything else
If we identify a participating attorney, we tell you their name, law firm, and location (city/county) as part of the referral — before you're asked to do anything or speak with anyone.
You decide
Contacting or speaking with the attorney is not an obligation, and it does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship only begins if and when the attorney agrees to represent you.
Required Disclosures
What this service is — and isn’t
We are not a law firm
EzuLaw does not practice law, does not provide legal advice, and does not represent you. Every participating attorney is an independent lawyer or law firm, not our employee.
We don't take a cut of your case
Our revenue comes from a flat fee paid by participating attorneys to join the panel — never a percentage of a settlement, judgment, or fee. We don't quote contingency terms to prospective clients.
We don't refer you elsewhere for the same matter
We connect you to attorneys — not to medical providers, contractors, or other non-legal services for the same incident.
We verify before we publish
Every attorney profile includes a Florida Bar number, and we manually confirm standing with The Florida Bar's official lookup tool before that attorney is added to the live panel.
For the full required disclosures, read our referral service disclosures.
Ready When You Are
Start with your practice area
Every practice area has its own intake questions, so we only ask what’s actually relevant to your matter.
